OVSAGE Minutes

Present: Scott Murphy, Kelly Kendrick, Pierre Charbonneau, Gabriel
O’Brien

Agenda: Presentation on LISA

Scott gave a brief presentation on LISA which we continued to discuss
throughout the evening.

Scott explained our current status and formal relationship with
USENIX and SAGE.

Pierre and Gabe suggested we should take steps to formalize our
membership in SAGE so as to be able to take advantage of the resources
Scot outline earlier.

All present voted to form a Board of Directors with the initial
membership to consist of those present:

Scott Murphy - President
Kelly Kendrick - Vice President
Pierre Charbonneau - Treasurer
Gabriel O’Brien - Secretary

As there were no objections this resolution passed.

Gabriel committed to formally join USENIX so that OVSAGE could be
formally recognized as a SAGE local.

Scott agreed to prepare some possible logos for use on letterhead and
articles of clothing, etc.

Pierre agreed to research in more detail the legal and financial
niceties of being a NP organization.

Meeting adjourned.
