Hi Dave,
It’s great to hear from you. Maybe we can get together for some wings?
Just to clear up the confusion that post sent, Hooters is not a former
Nortel building (although it did have the nickname Fitz 4). The building
behind Hooters is :) I used to work in the larger former Nortel building just
across the street.
I would like to address the concern regarding a conflict with the 15th
Annual Canadian IT Security Symposium at the Congress Centre. That is the
second Wednesday of May, so the third Wednesday is still good.
Sorry,
I meant Wed. May 14th.
Scott,
Thanks for keeping us in the loop. Patrick and I have been swamped with
work here at CCRA with 4 new Sun Enterprise 10000 servers and a pair
of
honking Compaq SAN arrays… so we are very delinquent in attending any
of
your local SAGE events… but one of these days we will get out there!
We
are now housed in Bells Corners, on Fitzgerald behind Hooters! (a
former
Nortel building!)
Well…
If it’s not too short a notice, let’s punt it to Friday the 25 at
7:00 (same location) for this meeting and change the monthly to every
third Wednesday for the next while and see if that helps with
attendance.
Scott

Whoops! My bad for not catching this sooner. Unfortunately, I have a
conflict for the next several Tuesdays and Thursdays, so unfortunately, we
can’t meet here at these times. (Other nights are fairly open for me.) I
truly apologize for that. Please let me attempt to make it up by offering a
“mystery gift” to the person who’s name will be drawn at random from the
attendees of the next meeting.
