As you can see on the left, there is a meeting this Thursday at Altera.
Topics this time around will include the upcoming LPI exams, Doom as a
system administartion tool, and anything else that strikes our fancy.

ovSAGE is pleased to announce that we will be sponsoring an LPI
certification testing session.
We are considering July 10, 2004 as the tentative date. Click on “read
more” for details

The exam will be held Altera’s Ottawa Technology Center; the same place we hold our monthly meetings. The exact date and detailed information will be posted later, as more information is made available.
This will be an open testing (as in open to the community at large), and
we hope to see lots of people attending to get their certification. If
you know of anyone who has ever thought of getting a Linux
certification, this is one of those golden opportunities, as there is no
local testing center yet.
I finally got around to it… Migrating the contents of the old email
list to this site.If you look at the top menu bar, you might see a
choice called Historical Information. It’s not much, but it does contain
the entire contents of the original mailing list that was used for the
founding of the group.
Check it out.
Based on a couple of comments, I have altered the default theme and done
a little cleanup. I’m not sure it’s perfect, but it should do for now. I’m
willing to take suggestions on graphics and colours.
We now have the Forum software installed. This should allow for a better
flow of information, as well as add some
flexibility. Suggestions, contributions, or anything should be accepted. I
have put in a couple of general topics, but no content yet. I’m hoping
to get some stuff posted this weekend..
