OCUUG arising from the dead...

Spring is in the air (at least that’s what they tell me) and the
Ottawa Carleton Unix Users Group (OCUUG) is coming out of a long
hibernation.

If you are interested in Unix or Unix like operating systems, read on.

So what is the OCUUG?

The Ottawa Carleton Unix Users Group (OCUUG) is a group of hobbyists
and professionals who have an interest in Unix-like operating
systems. By Unix, we mean any operating system which is Unix-like and
we will refer to this as *NIX. Everyone with similar interests is
welcome. OCUUG provides an open forum to discuss *NIX related
topics . The meetings and topics are driven by the interests of the
group.

One emphasis of OCUUG activities is the welcoming of people who are
new to the Unix community. OCUUG provides an atmosphere of mutual
support and education where knowledge sharing, improvement, and
guidance are encouraged.
